Information we collect

Booking and customer workflow information, such as services, providers, appointment times, booking notes, customer contact details, feedback, reviews, and conversation history that you or your customers submit through Bookly.

Usage, device, and diagnostic information, such as pages visited, actions taken, browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, error logs, and security events.

Google user data

If you connect a Google account or authorize Google APIs, Bookly may request access to Google user data that is necessary to provide the requested product features. This may include Google Calendar account identifiers, calendar lists, calendar availability, event details, event attendees, event times, and related metadata needed to read availability and create, update, or manage booking events.

Bookly uses Google user data only to provide and improve user-facing booking, scheduling, calendar sync, availability, reminder, and operational workflow features that you choose to enable.

Bookly does not sell Google user data. Bookly does not use Google user data for advertising. Bookly does not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features, comply with applicable law, protect users, prevent abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with continued privacy protections.

Bookly's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we use information

Provide, operate, secure, and maintain Bookly and its booking, calendar, inbox, review, automation, and storefront features.

Create and manage appointments, availability, reminders, confirmations, staff schedules, customer communications, and business dashboards.

Troubleshoot integrations, prevent fraud or misuse, enforce our terms, and protect the rights and safety of users, customers, and the public.

Communicate with you about your account, product updates, support requests, billing, security, and administrative notices.

How we share information

With service providers that help us host, secure, deliver, analyze, support, or operate Bookly, under contracts that limit their use of the information.

With integrations you choose to connect, such as calendar, CRM, messaging, email, payment, analytics, review, or automation providers, so those services can perform the actions you request.

With members of your workspace according to their permissions and the business workflows you configure.

When required by law, legal process, security obligations, or to protect rights, safety, and service integrity.

Data retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Bookly, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and support legitimate business needs.

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required by law, security, fraud prevention, backup integrity, or legitimate business operations.

If you disconnect a Google integration, Bookly stops using that authorization for future sync activity. You may also revoke Bookly's access from your Google Account permissions page.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account or data has been compromised, contact us promptly.

Your choices

You can update account information, configure workspace permissions, disconnect integrations, opt out of non-essential communications, and request help with data access or deletion.

Customers who book through a Bookly-powered storefront may contact the business they booked with or contact Bookly for help routing a privacy request.

Children

Bookly is intended for businesses and their customers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
